OSFI: A New Chapter in Life Insurance Capital Requirements

In his remarks, OSFI Deputy Superintendent Mark Zelmer will outline key elements of OSFI's new capital adequacy guideline, the Life Insurance Capital Adequacy Test (LICAT). The LICAT guideline was developed in consultation with life insurers and other industry stakeholders, and is designed to better align capital and risk measures with the economic realities of the life insurance business. The group will be visiting Toronto as part of the Brazil-Ontario Innovation Week. Ontario fintech trade mission to Chicago - REPLY NEEDED before Jan 14Ontario's International Trade Branch is considering a FINTECH trade mission to Chicago and the Windy City Summit, on May 26-27.
